Engineering Design
Whatever your reason, be it the cost of manufacturing too high, over-allocation of labour, limited capacity, a shortage of space, or an environmental and H&S challenge. We understand the objective and develop our ideas in collaboration with you. We bring knowledge of ergonomic engineering design to meet HSE standards and “fit for purpose” solutions.
We collect data, in support of our engineering designs. Along the way, we prepare supporting documentation to include scope summaries, user requirement specifications, and tender documents. We work up detailed financial documentation to include ROI.
We constantly communicate our progress with the client, seeking approval at every stage.
Project Management
We undertake all elements of the project delivery. Our focus will always be holistic to ensure the outcomes are positive. Dynamic in our approach, ensuring changing environments are managed expediently. We limit the client’s exposure to immediate/imminent risk by offering a broader view of current risks and mitigation activities that can be taken when a project is at critical stages. Simply put, we take control and hold ourselves to account to deliver the project on time, on budget and within scope.
Project Delivery
We have the capability to cover all aspects of site management to ensure your project is delivered safely and in compliance with current CDM regulations and all environmental elements are considered. We do this through a network of experienced site managers.
All our engineers are site management qualified, and first aid trained. Our CDM activities are routinely audited by an independent health and safety professional to ensure compliance. We are Safe Contractor accredited.
Fast Response Process Solutions
We provide a rapid response to a company’s problem to alleviate any stress in any current situation. Whether that be a catastrophic failure of a plant or an urgent need to increase capacity, the reasons are endless.
We have the capacity to take on projects with particularly tight deadlines, almost without notice, utilising a breadth of different experiences across newly qualified graduates and more experienced engineers. We do not do anything differently from a standard project, we just do it at pace!
Ongoing Reliability and Performance
The founder of LOS has enjoyed an extensive career in engineering maintenance and operational performance and is able to offer support to clients that believe their output is negatively impacted by the reliability of their plant.
Using our graduate engineers, we have the ability to collect hard data, analyse it, and work with the client to prepare a strategy to implement a cost-effective process of improvement.
We have trained engineers that are able to implement a CMMS (maintenance program) and can even undertake the supervision of any remedial actions to ensure a successful outcome is achieved. Mentorship is given to ensure the improvement is sustained.
